The Saab-Lancia 600 was produced from 1980 until 1982. It was a Saab-Scania / Lancia partnership that was created in order to share the financials in creating a platform that would eventually set the stage for the successor, the Saab 9000, three years later.

The Saab 600 was a rebadged Lancia Delta and that set the stage for the Saab-Scania & Fiat-Lancia-Alfa Romeo partnership.

The Saab 600 was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, which was a front-wheel drive, 4-door hatchback.
